A coffee drinking, record listening, outdoor loving, wave catching, laid-back kind of guy from the South Coast of NSW. Living life with my little family in our seaside town of Bawley Point. In my spare time you’ll catch me having family hangs at the beach, riding waves, eating snack boards, shooting hoops, having table tennis tournaments, and exploring with my little girl. I love a great café, anything to do with the ocean, a good movie, catching some live music, travelling to new places, and cooking up a storm.
I have been lucky enough to document couples’ love stories as a wedding and elopement photographer around the world since 2013. I have a super relaxed and natural approach to capturing every beautiful moment of your big day. I love taking photos. I’m so lucky to be able to say that I absolutely love my job. It’s something that doesn’t feel like work – it’s art, an expression, a passion, and it feels so special to be chosen to be a part of your big day.
Some of my favourite places to shoot weddings are the gorgeous South Coast of New South Wales, The Southern Highlands, Blue Mountains, Braidwood, Berry, Byron Bay, Melbourne and Kangaroo Valley. But I also love to travel to, explore, and photograph places that I have never been before! To be honest – it doesn’t matter to me where you get married, whether you have an intimate elopement just the two of you, a backyard shindig, or have a huge celebration – I just love being a part of the day that celebrates you and your story.
- From the start -
When I was younger, I used to wake up each day not quite knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I tried a few different jobs and couldn’t find something that felt right. I spent a lot of my spare time making surfing videos. Though I thought I was doing this just for fun, it sparked the artistic side in me.
Then I started taking photos. I soon discovered that being able to capture the special moments in peoples lives, in images that they can treasure forever, gave me a great sense of fulfilment and joy.
My passion for photography has grown even stronger with each passing year. I have met some incredible people and been to some beautiful places around the world along the way. Now, I can’t imagine a better way to spend my days. I am lucky enough to have found a job that inspires, pushes and moves me every day.
Today, if I have a camera with me, I’m happy…it’s that simple.
- MY WHY -
Photography is something that is very special to me. It is a passion of mine that provides me with a great amount of purpose and joy. Photography gives me a sense of freedom and awe in that I am creating art from beautiful moments in time, the way that I see them play out in front of me. You could be standing right next to someone and take a photo of exactly the same thing from the exact same spot, but your images aren’t going to be the same. Everyone sees things differently.
Photography gives my creative mind permission to play and when I have my camera I feel free of all life’s little worries. I become absorbed in the beauty around me. Being behind the camera allows me to completely focus on those special moments in life, to block everything else out, other than that very moment. To me, weddings are without a doubt one of the most beautiful moments in life. I put my heart and soul into wedding photography because I know that celebrating love is one of the most wonderful things that you can ever experience. Being chosen to be a part of someone’s wedding is an absolute honour.

My favourite kind of wedding is one where I click with the couple from the get go. Whether we bond over a shared love of surfing, a friendly convo, a similar sense of humour, or through the style of my photography - we find a special connection. And we will feel like real friends once the day is over. I love when I know the couple has chosen me because they love my style and my approach to weddings. They feel confident in me to capture their special day and just let me do my thing. A couple who want to capture the raw moments and emotions of their day. I love a wedding that tells the story of the couple. Where the detail, songs, and choices they have made in the planning tells the story of their love and the kind of couple that they are. Where the day truly feels like a celebration of their unique relationship.
